Screen-Free Meals Challenge: Rediscover Connection and Mindfulness

Most people I speak with bemoan their frequent use of phones and other screens. We can sense that the more we watch, scroll, shop, or game, the harder it is to focus and the less satisfied we feel. But because all of our tech is engineered to be so addictive, it can be distressing and difficult to disconnect.

I’ve felt scared to death seeing “iPad kids” in the wild, but lately I’ve been living like an iPad adult! I wouldn’t want a child to live with so much constant stimulation, so I figured it was high time for me to set a similar goal for myself.

That’s why I’m excited to share the Screen-Free Meals Challenge, designed to help us reclaim mealtime as a sacred moment for nourishing your body and connecting with yourself or your loved ones. By committing to eat at least once a day without screens, you'll have the opportunity to be fully present, enjoy your food more, and break the brain-blasting cycle of mindless meals.
